Nashville Downtown at sunset.....i thought these building colors contrasted nicely.

Nice color contrast.

The placement of pigeon would be more interesting if placed at left top intersecting point, you could have avoided the pole at left.

What was there at top left corner? That white empty space distracting the attention to some extent.

The yellow surface is reflecting more. Showing more lines and texture of the wall would be more interesting.

There's no doubt that contrasting colours make interesting picture, in this shot there are lots of rectangles and they can make a descent pattern. The colours look washed out, because your camera meter has taken the exposure of the brightest part of the yellow wall (a high reflecting surface covering most of the frame). Try to compose the shot and eliminate anything that seems to distroy the colour and pattern harmony. If I have to point at individual things, I will repeat a lot already said by Pala.

I like the shot. Reminds me of something Mondrian would have done.

Its downtown.....past Broadway in the parking center lot. Its across from a museum I think.....
