great shot! I the green down in the lower right is a bit ditracting but other than that i really like it. Wonder how it would look with a vintage post processing job done on it to fit the title a bit more....was it founf like that or did you pose it? I think i see moss on the wrist though.
I like it.

I really like this shot, well done. I agree with xxpinballxx that the green foliage in the bottom right corner is a little distracting, but all and all, well done

Interesting take. It takes a keen eye to see something like this and imagine a wonderful shot. Most of the world would see this as thrown away garbage but you saw it as art. Great Job

Thanks for the comments and kind words. I sort of liked the pine, but hey. Here is a version where I cloned out the green pine branch, is this better?

krbinster,
I don't know what effect you were going for but to me this is a very sad picture. I remember, as a kid, riding on my bike all day with my baseball glove on the handlebar. When 2 or 3 of us got together we would always get a pick up game going. Your photo tells me again, that kids today don't have the same kind of life we did back then. Today, it's off to the mall or sitting at home playing video games. I think they are missing out on so much.

Thank you for the wonderful memories of my childhood.

OK all, the story is really not sad. When I saw the glove there I thought that would be a good tittle for the image. This glove belonged to my daughter (now in college) when she way younger. Our new puppy found it in the garage and stole it and used it as a chew toy. A few months ago he left it in the garden and I just found it there the other day. When I saw it the tittle came to me so I took the shot with that in mind. So, I guess the shot was posed for my by Trent (who is the doggie I use as my avatar on this board).
