World's Smallest Desert

This was taken in Carcross, Yukon Territory Canada and is the world's smallest desert.

I've had my D40 for two weeks now and still don't know what the bottons and dials do!

I took the liberty to play with your photo in photoshop. Hope you like it. Just made some leves, curves, saturation and burn things on separate layers.

Thanks everyone... you wouldn't expect a desert in the arctic regions of Canada but there it is.

Amazing picture.

Strictly speaking the Carcross Desert is not really a desert, but a set of sand dunes over a 1 square mile area. The area is too humid officially to be a desert, but that doesn't detract from the beauty of it.
