Default Bike light

bike light

Camera: Olympus E-400
Exposure: 0.04 sec (1/25) (tripod)
Aperture: f/5.6
Focal Length: 42 mm
ISO Speed: 100

Maybe too dark?

I like it! But I find the background a little distracting. What about trying a closer crop? At the very least I think I'd like to see the tree (right side) cropped out. Neat bike light though, looks old.

I like it as well. I agree with Kagogrl that a tighter crop would be better. Maybe crop in from the tree in the back ground with the light shinning on it. As far as it being to dark... well it could be lightened up a bit but you might loose the mood of the image...

Anyway that's just my 2 cents

Default Nice picture!

Hi avo:
Nice picture, it's very sharp. I liked the color the way they are. As they already said, maybe a crop can work well but I also thought tha maybe a "Lomo" effect, can work on this picture.
Here is the Lomo Tutorial on DPS that I think can help you if you go that way.
Thanks for sharing it and good luck!

avo,

I like the crop as is, with the tree, I just think the horizon needs straightening?
Actually, looking at it again, maybe crop a little off the bottom? I'm not sure, but I like the tree there.
Now I'm confused. I think it would look good both ways, with a crop or without.

Hi!

At first i thougth about straightening the horizon, but then I realised that it would make the tree on the far right behave in strange ways (I mean, it won't be straight any more). I think I can solve this problem by getting rid of that tree, even when I thougt it compensates the picture, and straightening the horizon. I definitely will try that this afternoon and post my results here.

Thanks for the feedback!

Hmmm...

I like your photo... I like the tree on the right and the background... What I feel distracting are the other bikes in the lower left. Something I would have considered when composing the shot. I think I'd crop out the left getting rid of the zip tie out. Maybe take a look at it in sepia or b/w. Just my humble thoughts...

Regards...
