I was visiting a park in Brønderslev where I really wanted to take pictures of a Dragonfly, but they were hiding (they saw me before I saw them) - so I looked for something else to shoot. And there was a Duck swimming towards me. So I loaded my Canon Powershot S3IS with an aperture of f/3.5, shutterspeed 1/500s, ISO 80, max zoom (12x) on this bright sunny day and shot the poor thing
- but it did not feel a thing.I cropped it so the bird came in the middle (I did not follow the rule of third) - it was mainly to get the waves around the bird and secondary it swam almost directly towards me - so I could not decide which side to keep? Question 1: Do you think the central position is Okay on this picture? (or will I be arrested because I broke the rule of third?) Question 2: I boosted up the color on the duck - was that to much? And of course I will be glad to get any other hint to improve my shoot.
