Great shot!

Only thing I'd do is maybe get rid of the small protrusion on the left bottom edge. Great job.

It looks like an old photo but there is nothing wrong with that, especially for the subject.

It might be worth considering portrait rather than landscape orientation. That loses the bump porterd2nz spotted at the bottom and would make more of the strong diagonal orientation of the statue.

I would also be interested in seeing the original of this picture for comparison.

I really like the way the texture is shown in the first pic.

Wulf: Sorry about the size but I am new to the DPS forums it won't happen again! I didn't quite understand this part Wulf: 600px maximum on longest side I don't know if you could explain this to me thanks!

Texotic: Yeah they are from Mexico´s Anthropology Musem I have more if you´d like to see them.

Guys can someone tell me how can I put a link to my Flickr page at the bottom of each post I paste just like Wulf's post? Thanks.

Ricardo,

Don't worry - a lot of people post pictures that are on the large size to begin with. Somebody (like me) will often jump on them to ask that the images get squeezed down. Since you use Flickr, the easy solution is to use the medium size image (500px on the longest side and large enough to give a good impression of the picture without pushing the boundaries of the site design or taking too long to download). Nicole has done some excellent visual guides to posting image from Flickr and other sites.

To add a link to Flickr, see the tutorial I wrote.

For your image, I think it would be best to start a new thread - the subject is quite similar to texotic's but the photo is quite different in approach and will probably get some comments on it's own.

i love the colors and processing, but this really should have been captured in portrait mode. the right side of the photo is too empty and the top of the head is cut off.
