Besides the lens distortion in this picture I like the color and saturation. It was taken down town Chicago last night just after sunset. I'm planning on purchasing some software soon to work out the distortion issues i've been having. Please let me know what you think.

Thanks for looking

Dean38, Wow was my first thought, because of the color and complex nature. Then, great place to shoot from. Then, way to go, featuring the the smaller bridge structure, lower center.
After all that I wondered what it would look like if you really emphasized that "David" and allowed the "giants" to recede a little? A little darker background, or blur. And the distortion makes one feel grounded. Easily fixed, though, if you choose.

Dean38, . . . and maybe tilt to the right so central subject is vertically correct. And lose some of the orange tint.
And remember Wow was the first impression; this other stuff is what I would do. Shoot on!

Here's the photo with the center focus straightened and the saturation lowered a bit. The photo actually has a high level of color from the lights and from the time when it was taken. (sunset)

Thanks for your nice comments. I'm glad you like it.

I kind of like the orangeness. It makes me think "sunset". But that's just me. I think the distortion thing is a tiny issue, but beyond that it's really, really nice.

Yeah I was actually feeling the orange color. The distortion I could take it or leave it. But put back the orange color. It adds to the realism of the shot. Thats how street lamps look.

I think the top one is best. I like it just the way it is. I think it is a great picture. Great weather you have there.

Dean 38,

Your public has spoken. Tilt good, no orange bad.

My pick is the first one, I realy love it. I particularly love the little bit of blue left in the sky!
