I have been lucky to be getting a few assignments of late. My most recent one was to shoot a baby's 1st birthday party. I took this shot at the venue not a studio with just my vivtar flash and a plain background. Have to give the pics to the client in 2 days, but as usual i would like any kinda feedback i could get before presenting it to the client. Thanks in advance.

Very nice shot, Kunal. I might be tempted to get rid of some of the sides so there isn't as much black background. The dress is a little bright, too, but I can't tell if that's my monitor or not.

Problem I have found with taking photos of children, is thier parents! What you may think is a very good photo of there child, they don't like, because they don't recognise the expression! Its such a fleeting moment captured, that a sullen child smilling or a happy child concentraiting, may not be what the parent thinks is a good likeness of thier precious!
