Default Spaghetti

Hi all,

This was taken for a competition. The theme was straight lines. It didn't win but I was pleased with the result. After all its not the winning it's the taking part.
Do your worst.....

I can't, this was a great shot.

Looking through a judges eyes though, two reasons why you probably didn't win is maybe the lighting (a bit dark compared to the other side) and it wasn't as sharp as it could be (you can see some blur to the right)

But of course that is just nitpicking (which I guess that would be a judges job).
Again great shot.

I like the shot, it looks kinda like a flower at first.

Wish I had something constructive to say

I really like it. How did you light the spaghetti?

Interesting and creative shot. Would be nice to know the lighting, setup, lens used, etc.

It was taken in natural light in front of a window (exif data says flash was used but it wasn't!!!). Camera: Fujifilm FinePix S9500
Exposure: 0.025 sec (1/40)
Aperture: f/8
Focal Length: 6.2 mm
ISO Speed: 100
Exposure Bias: 0/100 EV

hand held. Ishould have used a tripop. some adjust to curves in PS.
