obligatory waterfall shot

Hi guys/gals,

Here's one for the firing squad.

I'm mainly interested in composition suggestions/critiqes. (feel free to crop)This was hard to shoot as it is, but I'd like to revisit the scene and explore some more angles.



Of course I'm open to any other comments as well.

Beautiful shot, but I am not wild about the water, I would like to actually see the water instead of just a blur, but I know that is the look that some photogs are trying to achieve, I'm just not a fan of it.

I like the silky water effect. I think it captures the essence of the waters movement. I love the crisp clear sharpness of the moss and rocks.

The bottom half of the photo doesn't seem to be adding anything to the photo and could possible be cropped away.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing about the bottom. As I was scrolling down to see the entire image, I was thinking how beautiful it was. Then I got to the "dead space" at the bottom. Maybe take off a bit of the bottom and just leave a little beneath the rocks. It's starts to look too much like molten chocolate otherwise...

crop, enlarge and make into a poster. i think it would look great in the right frame hanging on a wall
