I agree - the stamen and bottom right petal are far too bright. Saving the texture there would help considerably.
Otherwise - good contrast between the red / magenta center and the blue / green background. Maybe move the green leaf sticking in the flower out of the way next time?

Quo Fan,
Later day shooting, or earlier, all but eliminates the harsh white overload. You get interesting shadows then, too. This is comfortably framed. The blue, if subdued a little in saturation, would add rather than distract.
