It's a nice shot. The depth of field is rather shallow though. Use a smaller aperture to get more of the subject in focus. I think it'll help with this particular image. I know it's difficult sometimes to use a smaller aperture when shooting macro because of the usual lack of light. Use anything you can to steady your camera in those cases. Increase the ISO if you must.

Subtle, simple detail in front, no distractions in b/g. That's all I would ask of a Macro. I'd experiment with some lightening, but probably leave it as you have it. Subtle is a lost art. Good work.
