You should be. Nothing wrong with it.

I mean if you want me to complain the DOF is a little dizzying toward the top which leads me to say you could have cropped it out. But I think I'm looking to pick at things.

-Or sun, as you say. Subtle colors are unique to Nature, so that's good. Something about the mass of dark shadow in foreground, maybe if the detail there were sharper, or . . .

Not much in the way of sun, or bugs, this time of year. I have full, anytime access to that property, and now that I've found that log I'll definitely be back in the spring. When there is sun, and insects, and mushrooms
