I like it... but the focus seems to be on the flowers, not the bee. It's still a nice photo.

I agree with gnomeskull. The focus is a lil bit out. just a lil bit. Maybe I would change the comp. The bee in the center of the image.
Keep it up!

I can see where you two are coming from, cheers for the comments. It was nigh on impossible to get it perfect, it was a windy day and this flower happened to be on a really long stalk and was wobbling everywhere.. it was quite fun to watch things come in and out of focus through the viewfinder though.

Default Some cropping

A little cropping might help. The bee is small on a relatively large canvass. You might try to isolate the bee, making it stand out more.

hmmm, i think the title is misleading, i've always just thought of the bee as an added extra, to me it's more about the whole photo, not just the bee as a focal point.. more the flower.

I actually think it's obvious the bee is the focal point because everything else is in contrast to the bee. The title is not misleading to me.

It MIGHT be misleading in some ways to people because it's just too far away. It's too small within the frame letting the flowers counter balance the presence of the bee. Try and see if you can get closer to the subject. If you don't have a macro lens or feature in your camera then crop it like someone else suggested.

I don't have a macro lense, so i was using my tele as a makeshift one... it was quite a fun experiment!
