I thought I'd share this photo after seeing this "thread.

I love fireworks photos. If you hadn't told me what the green dot was, I would have thought it was intentional. Rather than deleting it, maybe crop the photo a bit to put the center of that swirl and the green dot down and right (in line with a "rule of thirds" intersection).
You could also clone the green dot and center it more in the swirl of fireworks to make it look a little more intentional. Nice picture, and you have quite a steady hand to get the lamp in the background so sharp with a handheld 1sec exposure.

perhaps i will take the note down. Lets keep the green dot afterall.Newbie, it isn't that steady. I have lowerpo sling camera bag (http://www.lowepro.com/Products/Sling_Bags/) that I simply love.
