Default Soft focus

This is the magnolia tree in our front yard.
I added the soft focus effect using Picasa.
I really like the way the light plays off the leaves, but I'm worried that the soft focus may be a bit much.

What do y'all think?

Thanks!

Default Yes...

I think the soft focus is a bit much... The shot itself seems a little dull... but that just may be me. Technically I find the shot done well for the most part, but the subject is not so interesting to me personally.

I don't like the strong shadow that is falling on the two lit leaves.

1111511474_6235d814b5.jpgIt's fairly easy to remove the shadow in PSCS3. This would be nice made into a "background paper" for scrapbooking.

Nootwerks, Welcome

Same idea, with more of the light (early morning or evening) stiking backs of full leaves will give a bigger light show. One odd colored leaf helps too.
