My First Shot a HDR

I realize a portrait was probably not the best idea for an HDR shot, but I used Photomatix and about 7 different exposures to get this shot of a very patient friend. Then a little Photoshop work and it was all done! Let me know what you think!

Even something as simple as a hat and umbrella on the bench would have given better overall look; people don't do well in HDR. If it was good experimenting to learn some variations in edits, it was worth the time spent.

I probably wouldn't have chosen a person as subject for an HDR image, but this image isn't too bad. The skin tones seem to be a bit orange for me and seem to be too similar to the tones of the wood of the bench seat. The trees really pop out of the picture, though.
