I love roses, one of my favorite things to photograph each summer. Beautiful colors in your shot. I understand your wanting to include the lovely background, but sometimes it can distract from your subject. Perhaps if you did a tighter crop, your subject would really stand out.

Default Move to the right?

Perhaps panning to the right would be a good idea if the backgroung was more intersting would help. The flower itself is not perfect or really well focused to attract attention anyway.

Usually it's easier to take a photo than to choose the subject. Less is more applies especially to photography. The bush, the sidewalk, the grass and the sign don't say Rose Garden as much as would a reaally good closeup of your bloom. Try later in the day for that shot, which gives you a better chance to avoid the over-exposed color. And stop to smell etc . . .
