Smile First go at child photography

Got to try doing some child photography today with my new Rebel.. lots of fun but definitely a learning curve there!

Photographing children can be tough! I think you did a nice job with the eyes, generally the first thing I look at in a portrait. The little hand looks nice and sharp, too. I might consider cropping off some of the white area to the left. Very nice job!

Yes sharpness was my biggest problem since she was moving so fast, and adding it on in PP can sometimes look a little strange.

Children are one of the hardest subjects to capture, and one of the most rewarding when you get that shot in a million. This shot is great even with its minor faults. Great job.
