If you are going for that type of shot (where the subject is centered in the photo) I would suggest that you make the shot less busy.

The fence is a good touch but the power lines on top distract from the silhouette of the tree. Plus cropping out the ground on the bottom wouldn't hurt.

I agree with sagelike31's suggestions about the shot being too busy and not presenting a strong composition. Also, the foreground could do with being sharper - the next shot in your Flickr photostream, children of the sun, is (IMHO) a much better silhouette picture because it is clearer both in terms of image sharpness and less distractions.
