First off.... awwwww!!!!

Secondly, it would have been nice to get the tops of the big Elephants' heads in the pic too...

good color, but the composition would be greatly improved if you had tilted the camera up a bit, getting more the heads and less of the grass.

Did you do any post work? The color seems a bit saturated to me. What time of day was it? I do love it Great job!

Good shot!! But I too would have like to see a bit more at the top with a tad less grass. You couldn't cut much off or you'd be cutting off mama's trunk. The lighting looked to be very good, there is shadow that shows the character of the elephants faces.

Definitely an awwww moment

amollambe,

It was bound to happen: this is the best photo you have posted in terms of composition telling a story, and it's posted at the right size. If I had a large original, this might be how I'd crop it, if I took out everything not essential to the depiction of the simple domestic life of pachyderms. The color I'll assume is the abundance of low-angle sunlight. Well done

Hi jiminyClickit,
Thanks for u reply, I was waiting for u r reply for so long. You are absolutely right on cropping. If I went little more back the impact of milk feeding will be less, that’s what I judge.
Warm Regards,
Amol
