It is a tad to bright and a tiny bit soft. I lvoe your presentaion. Nicely done. Close ups like this are very difficult to get the lighting right. Keep playing and before you know it one will come out perfect.

I love this peeper Is the flower white? The highlights are a little bright. What did use in post?

thanks evelyn....

this is a white bloom.....it's a night blooming cereus i have owned for years.....all the off the wall colors come from me scavenging about for light sources.....there's a flourescent camping light that i was holding just off camera...i figure that's where all the blue comes from....

post processing......jeeze, i forget more and more as i get older...i dodged out quite a bit of the background.....toyed with levels,.......usm... a duplicate layer using a glowing edge filter at a reduced opacity....another duplicate of the background layer set to overlay blend mode.....

i think that's about it.....
