a sunset

ok, my first post in this forum! i hope its ok if i post the original and the edited pic, if not i will remove one of them

i took this picture the other evening in my back garden. i loved the colours of the sky.

i felt the colours werent vivid enough and the houses seemed a bit distracting to me so i edited it in photoshop and got this:

im not sure if ive overdone it tho?

Welcome to this forum aProperNewbie, you have captured a very beautiful mood in the shot. The silhouetted houses in the corner with a riot of colours in the evening sky looks wonderful. I thought may be a little more of the dark foreground would make it better. Nice work on the cloning of the wire.

i think if you crop a little of the left and top, it would look better....
the top left looks too empty right now...
but i really like the colours in the sky.. so great shot...
