Default Bonsai

I really liked the way this Bonsai tree looked set up in a small room outside. I took it in color but thought it was a better black and white photo. Tell me what you think. Took with a Canon Digital Rebel XT.

Try crouching down and taking the photo head on instead of looking downward at the tree.

It looks like a great bonsai. I agree that it would be better to come down to the tree's "eye level" - that might also help to get the container and plinth into focus as well. Try cloning out the crack in the niche behind the tree too, as that is a little distracting. Do you still have the colour version?

I would like to see it at a different angle...its lined p straight but te angle gives it a offset look like its not balanced in the frame....maybe its a little of the shape of the tree itself giving that feeling. Did i mention I grew bonsai trees for like 12 years......I love them.
Thats not a bad looking one either......
