My first macro here from a serie that i took today, hope you like it, if not you can tell me what need to be improved .

Nice depth of field.

Perhaps a stronger object of interest would improve this shot. It appears that the rose has been cut off, but, if your lens allows you, maybe show the thorns in greater detail.

I had a good place to shot photos in a window without interruptions in the back since anything else was far away. I will try to get closer next time.

What an opportunity to make a photo: stick a magazine photo of a bloom on the stem with a pushpin.
