![]() I am torn. Would you leave the trees at the bottom or remove them?

Simple choice in my mind, I'd chop them. Before I read your Q I wondered to myself "I'd like to see it without the trees" :-)
Nice choice of Black and White!

I actually wish that you had more of the trees in the shot.. I think it would have given the bottom of the frame some more weight and balanced the photo better. but as it is with just a smidgen of tree I am thinking crop.

What would make a cool shot is if you waited until it was night time. There might be moths flying around it. Go back to this light and get close to it and get low. Then aim up at the light, maybe give it a tilt, and take a shot.

The trees should stay for sure IMO. You may try to add more of trees if possible, but it looks good as it is. I really like the shot: it is simple, but interesting. If you get rid of trees, it will be empty.

I agree the trees are important and need to be more prominent I think.Even if its just a taller one standing out in the crowd so to speak over to the bottom right side....sort of balancing the photo.

I think the trees should stay. They are a visual cue that tells me that the background is the sky. Looking at the cropped version, my brain does not really understand what is happening with the scale and the angle of the shot.
Edit: Very nice shot. I like simple lines in black and white. |

Ok, so I know when I'm out voted! Looks like the trees need to stay.
