I took this around 3 weeks ago at my brother's Soccer/Football game
I decided to try and take some photo's from grass level with great results, this was my favorite.

Taken with:
Fujifilm S5600
Auto setting (Couldn't be bothered to use Manual )

Default Nice photo!

Hi roll.4.life:
Nice sport photo you took. I love the composition and the blue sky. I allowed me to make some adjustments. I crop it and make some levels and curves layers to pop up the colours and make it a little bit sharper. Hope you like it!
IMHO when shooting from ground level try use a sand bag or something like that that let you keep your camera be parallel with the horizon.
Great photo!

I love this photo.

I have been deputized to take some photos at my son's upcoming games, and this is truly inspirational. Not just the perspective, which is excellent, but the moment -- I think you somehow got a shot with both feet off the ground?

If you don't mind giving up trade secrets, how did you get so close? Was this a set play, was it posed, or did you just get lucky with this developing close to the sideline where you were positioned?

Two quick thoughts on improvements. If you are into post-processing, consider whether it might be worth your time to add a slight Gaussian blur to the sky/houses/trees. This might both put more focus on the player, and deal with some of the noise I see in the sky.

Thanks for posting -- we'll see if I can do half so well next Thursday.

Cheers,

EL

Thanks Heaps for all the Feedback

Elay,
This wasn't a set play and wasn't posed. I was sitting at roughly halfway on the ground with the camera resting on the ground for almost the whole game and took over 50 photos from this perspective to see what i could get. It was slightly zoomed in to get over some of the grass directly in front of the camera and i just tested my luck i guess.

And the moment, was, well... Amazing i probably couldn't have taken this any better. I never knew just how much momentum was involved in one kick but i do now.

Also thanks to oriolhdz for the post processing it looks great.

Aaron.

It's a fun shot, good perspective. The only thing that bothers me is the noise, I really don't usderstand why there's so much. Lighting was good so ISO shouldn't have been a problem . . .

Very nice I have two daughters who play soccer and I have tried this perspective before but never was able to get that close. I was always admonished by either ref or coaches for being to close to the field. Season is getting ready to start again so Ill keep trying. Nice work and hope to see more of them, as my girls and their soccer were the main reason I got into photography it just kinda went on from there. Good work.

Default Thanks again

Greatly appreciate the interest you are all taking in this photo!

And i was actually wondering the exact same thing as you jdepould the lighting was perfect and the flash was well... off. So im not sure why there is so much noise.

If anyone knows please reply.

Thanks

Aaron.
