Default Nugget the Cat...

I took this picture of my cat earlier today. I was toying around with high ISO sensitivity trying to get a natural grain. I wanted that "film" look, I guess. What do you think?

Camera: Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT
Exposure: 0.025 sec (1/40)
Aperture: f/9
Focal Length: 18 mm
ISO Speed: 1600
Exposure Bias: 0/2 EV
Flash: Flash did not fire

nice shot.. I like the look. a little under exposed tho. it could just be the b&w version. What does the color version look like?

Unfortunately there isn't a color version. I was toying around with the B/W setting on my camera earlier today when I took this.

I like the processed version.

Some of the highlights got a little blown out in the process though, apart from that its a very nice image, the contrast is nice and moody and the grain doesn't look out of place.

Nice. I like the composition of it. At first I thought it was just another cat photo, and then I kept scrolling down, and there's something about the composition of it that is just really lovely. Anyways, nicely done. I like it, and the grain looks good. It adds to the depth a bit.

Your cat looks so regal sitting there! The king of the castle (as most cats are, since they are nice enough to let us live in their domain.)

I love it! Makes me wish I could get my cats to sit still long enough to try something like this.
