Default Moon over Sacandaga Lake (What would you do to it?)

Hello everyone,

I just got around to editing some photos I took while on my 10 day camping vacation in Lake Pleasant, NY. (Adirondacks) Here is one of my gems:

Please, I would love for you all to share your comments and critiques!

Thanks,
Jordan

Yes, sorry! Haha. I accidentally linked to the wrong image. I updated the post with the larger version.

Hello Jordan,

Let me first congratulate you for posting this lovely photo in this forum.
From the composition point of I would crop the lower part and bring down the horizon. If I can have some object like a tree, hills etc. on the right, the picture will have a better balance.

I have no idea of the camera or the EXIF information, so could not provide any technical suggestions.

But, this is a nice effort.

JordanM,

At first you'll think I don't like this photo: the subjects that aren't too small to tell anything about them (water, sky, trees) are so calm, plain, or dark, it's hard to appreciate them.

But I do like it, as a perfect vacation photo, because this is what it looks like out there. Many things could be done differently, and you're learning some here. For now, enjoy the memory.
