Oh my, just what I was thinking

As for the picture - your lighting seems a little harsh and direct. Try bouncing it off the ceiling or walls. This can even be done with a built in flash if you use a piece of cardboard.

That aside i really like the sharpness of the cats eyes.

dbf,

Two things will give you a better photo: one, try to time it so you don't shoot directly into ear; I thought as it scrolled down a patch of fur had been torn away. Two, try to leave a little more room around your subject (upper left is too tightly framed).
