Default Self Portrait

Greetings!
I was playing with some low-light, long(er) exposure stuff the other day and came up with this.
I did a little work to accentuate the shadows and added a semi-subte soft focus effect.
I'm pretty pleased with the end result, but would love to hear what all of you think.

Thanks!

Good job on conceiving and implementing the effect. I get a bit of blue-green cast on my monitor -- was that intentional?

Thanks for the input!

The blue-green can be attributed to my light source which was my Palm Treo.
I considered adjusting the color a bit, but in the end I really liked the feel just the way it was.

I can see the blue green cast but I like it - I often tweak my pictures to make them look more like that!

You could perhaps have included a little more room at the bottom of the frame, where it seems cropped a bit tight, but otherwise it is a great self portrait... and very ingenious to use your Treo as a light source.

Unfortunately, that's the bottom edge of the uncropped image.
I do think that you're abolutely correct though. Another inch or two lower would make a big difference.

Thanks!

Nootwerks, Welcome

Landscape orientation because . . . ? I'm guessing tripod considerations?
