Default Car GOD

I happened to see this hood ornament on a restored old car and took a quick snap. I gave it a high key lookusing Photoshop and then Virtual Photographer Hope you enjoy it! It was fun to create - jimmy

The high key works well here.

I would love to see the original.

Default Thanks

Hey Eve , thanks for the nice compliment. I really like the Virtual Photographer program (it's FREE) I am posting another pic I adjusted with this program. It is a Photoshop Plug-in.

I have a sort of similar shot, except it's Lebron James' Rolls. Unfortunately, I didn't scan the negative and I'm lazy.

Love the high key/diffuse glow look. It would also be interesting to see what you could do with the reds in the original.

I like what you did with this photo, I think it compliments the simplicity of the art deco style design really well.

Default Virtual Photographer update!

Hi, jdepould, Erik and Jassen, thanks for the nice comments jdepould, I wanted to increase or brighten the reds in the original but I don't know enough about layer masks etc. I am just a neophyte when it comes to Photoshop!

Oh, my youngest son tried Virtual Photographer with the new VISTA and it does not work!!! I use XP and it runs just fine.

That's because Vista is a pile of crap, if you'll pardon my language.
