Default 2nd Attempt: Moving Traffic at Night

Here is my second attempt at night shots of moving traffic. This time I made sure to get some objects of interest in the background.

Bring the temp on the WB down some, the tones are still warm. Composition is good, though you might benefit from cropping a little on each side, bring out more of the curvature in the traffic.

WB still looks warm, but the crop looks good, maybe a little bit more headroom for the building

a.saliga,

The brighter light on right side isn't missed in the crop, but as you observe, cropping both sides doesn't work for the building position. Sodium vapor lights under overpass do glow orange, don't they?

Technically a well executed photograph.

Exactly Jiminy. My thoughts exactly regarding the building position...

As for the sodium vapor lights, you are right again.

Re the WB, I think most of us tend to want night skies to have a slight bluish cast.

Granted you probably won't overcome the sodium vapour lighting, but I think cooling down a bit to push the sky a bit toward blue might be worth a try.
