Default First Post (Down Town Chicago)

Hello Everyone, This is my first post to the forum. I took my family down town today and set up a few shots. I really like night shots, so I took about 25 before I got this one.

I was having trouble with glares from all the street lights. I finaly came up with some better settings. This picture was taken at 1/5 of a second with an aperature of f3.5. I was having a blast, I could have stayed all night but my wife was getting cold. Let me know what you think.

Very nice wb. Those night shots can be tricky sometimes.

My only suggestion would be to re-shoot on a night when there is less wind so you can get a nice reflection in the river.

I'm a fellow Chicagoan! If you ever want to go on a photo stroll let me know!

Very nice shot. Everything looks so clean and bright. I actually don't mind the reflection the way it is in the river because my focus went more to the buildings.

I likes too.

I am going to Chicago (Well, Mt. Prospect) for CNC Machine training on the 15th-19th. I hope to get some time so I can go to the city to take some photos.
