Daughter with cap

My daughter is not yet 3, so she rarely cooperates with me for shots. I took this one from the hip. Any thoughts, comments, or changes I could have made?

I like your shot, like the repeating background pattern. She is very cute...

My thought would be to place her to the right of the frame and also it could have avoided that odd pattern at right bottom corner. Like to see some room where the kid's attention is.

Nice photo of your daughter. You have a good expression, nice background, and the hat throws a bit of a shadow for contrast without really darkening anywhere important.

If you have photoediting software, try a levels adjustment (tucking sliders at ends in a bit, based on edges of histogram), and maybe sharpen up a tiny bit -- I think you will notice a big difference.
