Default Strange Stains

Was wondering what these strange yellow stains on the church are? Not vandalism or yellow paint as there is some in the upper left.

It's likely to be some kind of moss/fungi growing on the old bricks, but I dont know exactly what kind.

UPDATE:

It could be Rhizocarpon geographicum or Acarospora chlorophana, which are both yellow stone lichens. Some info found here: http://waynesword.palomar.edu/pljan98b.htm

Default Strange Stains

could be from ivy growing that was taken off of the brick. I noticed in the bigger photo on the top left corner, ivy is growing.
