My son had just watered in the yard, when I captured this shot.

Flash: Flash did not fire, auto mode

Good contrasting colors. The waterdrops give an added dimension. You could try cropping more to draw more focus to the flower.

I like the colors maybe try and do something with the background. Blurring or changing the color of it......

The colors are great, but I think that the afternoon sun caused some really harsh shadows. I think if you waited until a littler later in the day or if you created some shade over the flower, it would be perfect

Yurik,

I agree with the harsh shadows. That was the only thing I didn't like about this. Will keep the early am or later pm in mind.
