I love the feel and color of these shots, expecially the third one. I think it would make a great larg print, 11x14 or larger, as long as the quality holds up. Based on the exif data it should hold up.

I'm also enjoying the 3rd photo. The repeating pattern and the rate at which the background is going out of focus is just right. Makes me want to go get a nice 1:1 macro lens Good shot!

R. E. Smith,

I know the the yellow "sticky" at the beginning of each category can be overlooked; this is hopefully a gentle reminder that DPS, though very friendly and full of good stuff, still has to flow and be fair to all the members. Enthusiasm is one of the characteristics of a good photographer, so hang on to that while you search around for all the areas new photos can be posted. And think about spacing them a little so everyone gets a chance to show their work.

If you edit, you could make a montage of the three sunflower photos, to illustrate what your title suggests. Or show it in Macro Photography in the Techniques section below.

DPS can be a lot of fun for everyone, as long as everyone has the opportunity to participate. With the influx of new members, the "pace yourself" aspect is even more significant.

"Life is in the detail" is well done, and I hope you have success with all your shots and continue to enjoy DPS.
