Palachandra - This is a beautifully simple and elegant image. Well seen! I just wonder how it would be if you flipped it horizontally? Might just "read" more easily the other way around? Just a thought - I love it the way it is!

Penny,

Because of the direction of tilt, or so sun is coming from left?

Palachandra,

Subtle and simple is my favorite, too. Well done.

Palachandra - Sorry to hijack your thread AND mess with your work!! If you object, tell me and I will remove it immediately!!

Jim - I feel the energy and direction are better, for me, moving from left to right - maybe cos that's the way I read? Like so

Thanks everybody for your inputs.

Penny,
I was just thinking why you would like to see flipped one, thanks to JC for clearing my doubts. I hope the reason is which JC has mentioned.

Here is the Flipped one (Did through Microsoft Picture Manager):

We must have posted almost simultaneously!! Do you have thoughts about the "flipping"? Thanks for letting me play with your image!

I hope so...

I agree with you Penny, because I too read from left to right. I did notice that after JC's and your comments. I agree with you about the direction of tilt.

I tried many shots to capture this and my intention was to add some depth. I took lots of flat snaps and finally got this tilted to back one. Unfortunately I did not notice the direction of tilt.

One more (Flipped horizonatally):

I am pretty much happy for all of your inputs.

Palanchandra,

Sometimes I don't know why a change will matter. Most of my bloom photos have the sun coming from the left, but many are facing/tilting to the left also. Mona Lisa? Girl with One Earring? Something about coming into the frame and stopping at the face.

Like your (and Penny's) first edit, graceful stalk and all.
