Default Rising Orion

Trying my hand at some astrophotography. I was blessed with a clear sky a some days back and noticed Orion rising over the bare trees in my backyard. C&C much appreciated.

Here's some stats:
Nikon D40
Lens: 18-55mm F/3.5-5.6 G
Focal Length: 42mm
Exposure Mode: Manual
Metering Mode: Multi-Pattern
4 sec - F/5.6
Exposure Comp.: -0.7 EV
Sensitivity: 3200
Optimize Image: Normal
White Balance: Auto
AF Mode: Manual
Color Mode: Mode IIIa (sRGB)
Tone Comp.: Auto
Long Exposure NR: On
Attached Images

Very noisy

The ISO should have been as low as possible with a nice long exposure to get a sharp image (but not long enough that the stars actually move.. unless thats the effect you want)

Thanks for the advise. I'll try with again with ISO 400 and maybe 20 or so secs. I'll let you know how it turns out.

Really noisy. Speaking from a composition standpoint, parts of Orion are obscured, making it difficult to identify for those not familiar with the constellation.
