Default Bongo

This photo was taken at the Jacksonville Zoo last week end. I photographed it in the shaded of the bridge with back sunlight. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thank You

thats one big set of ears! I'd personally like to see a different composition of this fella.. get the horns in, or, go for a tight crop around his face... looks like he has some cool features around the eyes etc.. guess it depends on the size of your shot as to wether you can crop in that close.. just realised I was calling him a him.. - or her!... eeek

Just a quick question. Were you using a sunshade on your lens when you shot this with flash? The reason I ask is that it appears that the shade has created a shadow across the bridge of the animal's nose. Using fill flash is a great idea, particularly when shooting into the shadow side of the sibject. It also adds catchlight's to the eyes that gives them life. Try to post a larger image in future posts. Flickr is great for doing this.
