I think your best shot, composition-wise, is to make it into a vertical incorporating the right hand section of the tree coming out of the water. The bird in flight makes the picture what it is. I'd also crop out the date in the water.

What kind of film were you using? It seems like it's on the grainy side. Also there aren't any true blacks. Compositionally it's good. Might want to turn off the date in the corner

Default Gray and Grainy

Nice subject and timing, but this photo unfortunately suffers from film quality, bad composition, shutter speed, and focus issues... Not too mention that dreaded date stamp. Keep working and I think you will find that you can take wonderful pictures, you definitely have the eye!

hi,
firstly thank u all for u r replies, as u seen the date it's 2005 at that point of time I was using my old conventional film non slr camera. The photo was scanned and thats why u find grains and distractions in it.
