Again, pretty hard to critique such a small image. I see you like to go in for close up shots having looked at other samples of your work. If that is what you strive for then always look beyond your subject at the background. Change your angle if necessary to avoid a distracting background. Also learn how to use aperture priority and shoot wide open to see how that affects the background as to making it stand out less. Couldn't find your EXIF data so I don't know what f/stop you were using here.

I am not sure how you are posting your image links right now but I would recommend using flickr. www.flickr.com Register at the site as it is part of Yahoo.com
You need to be a member of Flickr to post pictures from there. You can sign in at the top of each Flickr page. Flickr is a photo-sharing site that lets you upload your shots and share them. Upload the photos that you want to share with us to your Flickr account. Go to the photo's page by clicking on the photo. Next, click on the All Sizes button that is above the photo. Choose the Small or Medium size by clicking on it - I use Medium (Please do not use the large size since it makes the page load slowly for some of the DPS readers and it does not fit the pages very well). Under your picture select the text in the box that says Copy and paste this HTML into your webpage . Copy and paste the code into the reply box. Feel free to say something about your image or write any other comments you might want to add. Click on Post Quick Reply and your photo and comments will be posted to DPS.
