Default A Few More

Instead of posting a new thread for each pic I figured I'd give you a few and listen to your comments. I've been playing with the macro settings on the camera I like to take close up photos of flowers and leaves and such. I took the one of the Miller bottle while BBQing. I like to take a lot of nature photographs landscape and close up photos so any tips to enhance this would help. Also I edited all of these so feel free to ask for an original because I may have made mistake there.

Not too many people have a hoya to photograph. Nice comp but lighting could be better to avoid the hot spots on the right and the floweret totally illuminated.

Sime,

Everyone has a place where you just have to say something. It's very discouraging to see either greed or the lack of attention to posted rules for each thread. Excitement is understandable in children as an excuse. There are too many others here wanting to post their work for anyone to expect two, three, up to eight photos to be critiqued at one time.

Sorry I'm a beginner so I wanted a more general suggestion so I thought a few examples would give people a better aspect of how I take photographs. I don't see a problem with posting a few pics its better than 4 different threads but the rules are the rules and it won't happen again. Sorry.

JB0450,

Post #5 above has been a long time coming. The multiples have been showing up off and on for some time, and not always by new members. Certainly some inexperience can account for the first few, but it looks like it's gotten out of hand. If you were commenting on as many new posts as possible, you'd see that one a day is a good number, allowing for more thorough attention to each one. If you put up four and you see "nice photo," what did you achieve? One photo means more people will give more good information. It just means you have to choose the one photo you think needs the most help. Otherwise put them in a Chat thread, where anyone can look for as long as they want, comment or not, and the Critique can move along. Again, not singling you out. Just consider others.
