Default Bee Hive

Hi,
I visited JIM CORBETT NATIONAL PARK INDIA this summer, enjoyed the stay their, putting up some snaps to view. Have a look at it & Pls reply.
Camera : Canon Rebel XTI / 400D
Lense : 75-300 III USM / 18-55 (kit lense)
Shooting Mode : Aperture Priority AE
Shutter Speed : 1/60
Aperture Value : 5.6
Focal Length :190 mm

The background is overexposed and the foreground is underexposed. It looks like one of those situations where you would be better off blending a couple of different exposures together.

Having said that, I like the black and white pattern of the trees and sky, with patches of colour added by the leaves; if the beehive wasn't in the way, I think that could work in its own right.

I agree with Wulf, the beehive is lost because of the difference in contrast and the background is washed out. I think you needed to compose and work on the main subject (of your choice). Better luck next time, if you don't get chased by them.
