Default Sunset Shot - First attempt

This was my first attempt at taking sunset pictures, they were really colorful the last few months. Let me know your thoughts. Thx!

I like it and the colours are amazing however I would have prefered it without all the houses in, and maybe if a little more sky was visible.

Hi sir, just a few words,
I think it might help if you showed more play of colors on the clouds and of course the sun, what you captured is a lawn with the sunset sky for a backdrop so I think it should be titled differently, but that is a very nice sky you captured, next time you see skies like that try to get to higher places
Just an opinion, keep shooting

Nice colours, how did you get the buildings to not become silhouettes?

This is a great shot but I'd prefer it if more sky was visible. The big branch that's covering up most of the sky is a little annoying to me.

Totally agree with all the opinions above. The tree does distract from that gorgous sky. However, sometimes (in my case) you really can get that one shot really, so you try to get what you can and then next time, try to improve on it (move to a different setting or whatnot).

Smile Great comments

Thank you all for your comments. I agree about the tree and houses. The shot was taken without a tripod, i put the Nikon d50 against my chest for stability so I got lucky with the clarity. It was very much one of those quick moments, I am not sure I would have had time to go find a better angle, so i tried to frame it with the tree and house. I am new to photography as a hobby so i appreciate the feedback!

Great colors.. however it looks kinda busy with the houses in the foreground.
