Default Kitty bath

Got this shot of Spot taking a little wash in the sunshine...seems to me the focusing is a tad off in places. I was messing with the new 50 mm lens. Any ideas? Suggestions?

A very tender moment, perhaps cropping it further to get the head bit to fill the frame up? I think the main action is with the closed eye and the tongue, to get that to play a bigger part of the image can yield an image with more impact

This is a great pic of a beautiful cat. My eyes are immediately drawn to Spot bathing himself so I'd crop the photo more to focus on that.

I will try cropping more, thank you. My reasons for not were to keep the whiskers in the frame, perhaps now that I think about it they don't matter so much...

The idea of cropping it seems like a good one. If it seems a little oof in some spots, it might be due to the movement of the cat. Nice pic, though!

Looks good, and I agree as well, a bit of cropping would make the picture look better. I wished I could get a clear picture of a kitty bathing myself. I really love the color of Spot's fur.

I might go in and play with levels or curves to add a little more depth and contrast. I think it looks fine without a tighter crop.

great shot!

I think it would look better if the ears weren't cut. I looove the picture though, very emotive
