Default Goofing around

I didn't like the origonal. This is what i cane up with.
What do you think?

Well It think it is a flower... or something... It definitely makes ya think, but I also think its main problem was probably too much clutter, and though it has a "gee whiz" factor, I am just not sure about it.

As taykuyphotoart points out, clutter can get in the way of appreciating the effect. If you've done anything beyond going negative, it's also hard to appreciate that, since we don't see this way normally. A simpler subject would look lit from below, and allow the viewer to see and enjoy it. Sometimes you can get a new look from working on a negative, then overlay it back on your original. Stay curious.
