He seems a little bit lost in the setting and whatever that is by his nose is also distracting, because it makes it hard to pick out his profile. Good for camouflage but not so hot for getting a great image!

Did you try any other views of him? I wonder if looking down from above would work - that would give a better contrast between your pet and the dark base of where he is standing. I think richer colours would also be an improvement.

Agree with wulf but would also give a tad more breathing room, especially by the head. Looking forward to seeing more takes on your pet

Love leopard geckos....I use to have one my favorite were the tokay geckos but these are about the same creatures. Are you a herp or just wated an unusual pet?
The shot is nice but I think lighting isn't telling everything there is to tell about this gecko. A better situation might have given more info on their skin texture.
