was the boat docking at the time of the shot? It looks to be in motion a tad. really like the waters surface...looks like etched glass almost. The skyline is broken off by the boat....amybe take the boat out and get just the skyline or more of the boat farther out in the water.
Nice shot though....

Nice skyline shot. I had to got to the large version in flickr to see what was in the foreground. I know it was hard to tell at the time of the shot but a bit higher angle or shift of viewpoint would have put the sharp tipped pilings in shadow and less distracting. The boat is dark and not as distracting in the small image. Your print probably shows much more shadow detail.

daylebo5,

Can't help but wonder the kind of view you would have gotten from the end of that pier. Was it private?

Thanks for the comments.. i've got a panaroma shot.. but still need to combine it.. will up load it soon...

xxpinball-
yup there is a tad of motion.. but i think it might have been the normal water motion...

jiminyClickit-
thought of going on a pier ..but the damn thing was locked...
a problem if i went on the pier would be that i would not get too much of the skyline.. my canon lens is not very wide angle..

Hello! First I am not an expert but I may have what considered a little help (if my memory hasn't failed me I read that in Brighthand). anyways..since the ISO is only 100 there is a possibility that the picture is a bit blurry and that may happen because of : camera movement, subject movement, slow shutter speed or Improper focus.
